CompTIA Fundamentals

Attend a CompTIA IT Fundamentals course two days a week to learn about computer hardware, software, databases, networking, and cyber security. In addition, attend an IT Fundamentals support class two days a week to review and reinforce the key concepts, vocabulary and the skills necessary to work as an IT Support Specialist or Help Desk Technician. After you finish the 16-week course, you will have the opportunity to take the CompTIA IT Fundamentals exam and begin looking for that new computer support career. Microsoft Office Specialist Certification

Attend an MOS certification course two days a week to learn how to extensively use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. In addition, attend an MOS support class two days a week to review computer terminology, practice MOS assignments, and learn about the skills necessary to work as an administrative assistant or office manager. After you finish each session, you will have the opportunity to take the certification exam for that session and begin looking for that new clerical or office-based career. All of this is FREE of charge for you.

Pharmacy Technician Course

Attend an accredited pharmacy technician training course two evenings a week to learn how to be a pharmacy technician and prepare to pass the national certification exam. In addition, attend a Pharmacy Technician support class two days a week to review vocabulary, key concepts, and the top 100 drugs presented in the training course. To help prepare you for this career, you will also learn about the skills required for different pharmacy settings, interact with a variety of local pharmacists and pharmacy techs, and participate in field trips and optional externship opportunities. After you pass the 16-week course, you will receive a certificate that enables you to take the national exam and assistance with applying for jobs in the area. All of this is FREE of charge for you.

Medical Billing & Coding Specialist

On Mondays and Wednesdays, complete online curriculum assignments teaching you how to be a billing and coding specialist, including the revenue cycle, insurance requirements, coding guidelines, and billing and reimbursement procedures. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, attend the Medical Billing & Coding support class to review important content, practice new skills, and learn what you need to know to apply for and succeed in this in-demand career.
