CompTIA Fundamentals

Attend a CompTIA Fundamentals course two days a week to learn about computer hardware, software, databases, networking, and cyber security with a focus on passing the CompTIA Fundamentals exam. In addition, attend an IT Fundamentals ESL class two days a week to review the key concepts and vocabulary presented in the training course. The IT Fundamentals ESL course also includes speaking components to help you become more comfortable discussing, explaining, and troubleshooting in preparation for Computer Help Desk or cybersecurity jobs. After you finish the 16-week course, you will have the opportunity to take the CompTIA IT Fundamentals exam to prepare for entry-level computer jobs or continue your education in areas such as CompTIA A+, Networking, or Cybersecurity. All of this is FREE of charge for you.

Microsoft Office Specialist Certification

Attend an MOS certification course two days a week to learn how to extensively use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with a focus on passing the MOS Certification exams. In addition, attend an MOS ESL class two days a week to review computer terminology and practice MOS assignments while focusing on speed and accuracy. After you finish each 8-week session, you will have the opportunity to take the certification exam for that session. All of this is FREE of charge for you.

Pharmacy Technician Course

Attend an accredited pharmacy technician training course two evenings a week to learn how to be a pharmacy technician and prepare to pass the national certification exam. In addition, attend a Pharmacy Tech ESL class two days a week to review the key concepts and vocabulary presented in the training course. You will also hear from guest speakers from various pharmacies around OKC, tour a local pharmacy distribution company, and participate in externship opportunities. After you pass the 16-week course, you will receive a certificate that enables you to take the national exam and apply for jobs in the area. All of this is FREE of charge for you.
