HiSET Test Registration

In the State of Oklahoma, the High School Equivalency Exam (HSE) is the HiSET test. This test has taken the place of the GED and TASC tests.
The test has 5 subtests (Reading, Science, Social Studies, Math and Writing). Each subtest has multiple choice questions and the Writing has both multiple choice questions and an essay.

You must be 18 or older or provide the required Under 18 paperwork to the Testing Center.
You must have an ID to take the HiSET Exam. An acceptable ID MUST have a photo and can be any of the following:
  • Government-issued driver’s license or temporary license
  • State ID card (including those issued by motor vehicle agencies)
  • National ID card
  • Military ID card
  • Passport
